Muscat, the capital city of Oman, is highly modern, while also deeply rooted in the past. Nestled between mountains and desert, Muscat is Oman's oldest port city and bustling with life.

We have a great friendship as well as commercial cooperation and travel relationship with Oman. As crazy as our current administration is, no we don’t plan on ruining that relationship.
That said, I love seeing and hearing all about Oman! You all are a great country!

+Linkolan Kaczynskinite I’m sorry, but your surname is from Lithuania, unfortunately the name is Arabic. Are you a Swede with a Lithuanian root?
By the way, I am a Lithuanian, I live in Denmark. Your surname in Lithuanian style should be Kačynskytė
Linkolan Kaczynskinite
+Darius O What name is Arabic? Anyway, I didn’t know that, very interesting. The “-ite” suffix is like “-ist”, meaning a follower of some ideology, as I’m sure you know. Kaczynski comes from Poland in this case. So it’s not actually my real name, sorry if it was confusing. So no, I’m just a regular Swede. However I do really like Lithuania and her people. God bless you.
Darius O
+Linkolan Kaczynskinite I’m sorry, I thought it’s your real name. It would always be interesting to communicate with Lithuanian. By the way, the names of the Lithuanians and Poles are the same, only a few letters differ. Polish surname Kaczinsky, Lithuanian surname Kačinskis. It is noteworthy that in Lithuania, Kačinskis daughter’s name will be Kačinskytė. In Lithuania, as in Iceland, the daughter has a father’s name with the word “daughter” – Kačinski + daughter = Kačinskytė. However, at present, the name of a daughter in Lithuania can be written without “ytė”, which means daughter. Lithuanians, Latvians and Estonians are more ethnically and culturally similar to Swedes, Danes or Finns than Poles, Slovaks or other Central Europeans. I live in Denmark and I feel like in Lithuania, people are the same, a similar culture. It was even surprising that in winter Lithuanians burns the sculpture of goat from straw, just as in Sweden or Denmark, only in Lithuania burns at the end of winter and in Sweden during the Christmas holiday. We are neighbors, so the ancient customs are very similar. Peace for your. I wrote to you just because I thought Kaczinskite is your real surname 🙂
Darius O
+Linkolan Kaczynskinite Linkolan is something related to Finland. I thought it was your name. Sorry 🙂

I’d argue that is may be part of the string of megacities from Kuwait to Doha, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Muscat…but yes, by no means is Muscat a megacity in any capacity
Anil Kumar Kadimcherla

We stand for Peace ..My head are trying to tell me not to fall in the cult for killing me for leaving the practice…They are telling the world not to fall for the two face muslim kindness to trap ignorant people to marry them to convert and their true colors reveal when they have babies they use them to control them

tadashi okazaki Omanis didn’t use terrorism to expel the indigenous people while invading in hordes so no Tel Aviv and Haifa are just colonial settlements of an illegitimate state that will not exist in 100 years why would anyone go spend their money supporting war crimes of an unnatural country when you can visit a real legitimate country and people with culture rather than a culture less gypsy refugee camp that on top of stealing Arab land has to steal Arab culture because they don’t have one of their own?
Triyono Hendry
+abraham Rubio I always heard call for prayer from mosques (Azan) because I live in a country where Islam is majority but my faith is not influenced at all. Religius tolerance in my country is still good. But recently, it becomes worse because of some radical Islam are more and more aggresive to influence by using doctrine jihad to young generation to establish Islamic country based on sharia law. Some cases: terrorist attack, suicide bomber, had happened. It also depends on our government to take crackdown for terrorist to stabilize our country.

Research0digo

I was in Oman, the most peaceful country I visited in my life, they keep themselves in low profile and I dont think government order people to firm it, but foreigner interested in this country. Whoever visit Oman will say Oman is a peaceful country with friendly and nice people. That is my opinion as well, cheers

Yes, the sultan “ordered” that documentary to be made, like that sultan doesn’t have anything else to do in his life and that he is meant to do all these minute things!
